Wow. The plans for the stadium renovations look ridicu-good per the artist's renderings that can be found
here. As though I didn't approve before, I'm even stronger in favor of these changes than I was in the past.
Bill Martin will be giving public presentations on the renovations at 7 PM that following dates and locations.
10-26 UM-AA Junge Family Champions Center
10-30 UM-Flint Ontarion Room
11-1 UM-Dearborn Kochoff Hall, Section A

"No disrespect to Ohio State," Stanton said of a defense that knocked him out with neck and back woes. "But that Michigan defense reminds me of last year's Ohio State defense."

More complete analysis later, but first I want to say this:
The Penn State students that I encountered were at least as bad (from a classiness standpoint) than OSU's were 2 years ago. On Friday night and Saturday morning, I didn't wear Michigan gear because I literally feared for my life. I didn't have this problem when I went to OSU.

On his official visit, Ryan Mallett apparently got all of his admissions processes taken care of. He is set to graduate from Texas high school after this semester, and enroll at Michigan in January. This means he will be able to participate in bowl and spring practices. It probably also means that, with that added experience, he will not redshirt his freshman year, and probably serve as the #2 guy.
Sorry for not posting about Mario, but I'm sure everyone knows by now that he is probably out at least 2-4 weeks.

Mister Simpson has been granted a release from his scholarship, and is looking to enroll at the University of Cincinatti.
It doesn't bother me much, since he have never seen the field, and it opens up another scholarship to give this year. The only potentially troubling thing is his close relationship with Cobrani Mixon, as people have been speculating that Mixon may follow him to UC. We are already out of the running for Eugene Clifford, so it shouldn't affect us as far as recruiting Colerain kids in the future.
Best of luck to Mister Simpson, hope he tears up the Big Least.

The win over Minnesota was the perfect game for Michigan to have at this point in the season. It was close enough that they won't start thinking they're invincible, but wide enough a margin that it was never really in doubt. If the Maize and Blue can utterly dominate a game in which they record no sacks and force no turnovers, the performances can only get better in other games, as those stats get back up to their normal levels. The team held one of the best rushing attacks in the country to just 108 yards. They have proven they can stop the run. Two passing TDs were given up by a player who was only starting because Morgan Trent was injured.
Thus far, there is the perfect balance of humility and swagger in this team.
