CA QB Tate Forcier
This Week: Scripps Ranch v. Oceanside in round 3 of the playoffs. Scripps loses 49-14.
Forcier, averaging 303 yards per game in the air and 86 on the ground, was sacked seven times and finished with no yards rushing on 16 carries and was 9-of-23 for 106 yards and two interceptions.
Ouch.
After a one-hour, 52-minute delay, the game resumed and the Falcons (8-4) took advantage of the break in Oceanside's momentum, scoring on a 7-yard Forcier run on the last play of the first quarter, and again on a 6-yard Forcier run with 32 seconds left in the first half to tie it.
The article sounds like his offensive line killed him in this game, and an MGoBlog diarist who was there corroborates it.

FL RB Vincent Smith
This Week: Pahokee v. Frostproof in round 3 of the playoffs. Pahokee wins 30-0. Article 2.

Smith carried the ball six times for 50 yards on the ensuing 11-play drive, capping it off with a 7-yard touchdown run with 2:23 left in the first quarter.

It was the first of three touchdown runs for Smith.

"He's a stud," Thompson said.

Article 3.
Smith, who will sign with the University of Michigan in February, could have had more. He had an 85-yard touchdown run called back in the fourth quarter for a block in the back.
For the record, he will not sign in February, because he's planning to enroll early.

Counting an 11-yard loss on an errant pitchout, Gallon netted 51 yards on 26 rushing attempts.
