Threet Unlikely to Play Against Minnesota

Various outlets are reporting that Rich Rodriguez has called Steven Threet "very, very questionable" for Saturday's game against Minnesota. Justin Feagin has been moved back to QB to back up Nick Sheridan. If that sentence doesn't fill your veins with icy dread, I don't know what will. Who knows, maybe Sheridan will be lost for the season and Feagin will go nuts on the Gophers, a la Justin Siller against Michigan?

Screw it. The season is lost; might well as run Feagin like Pat White and see what we can do. We have nothing to lose. Never want to see Sheridan on field again.

I just threw up in my mouth!!!!!! This week is over. Minny-Some, UM-none. Wow. God hates us. No, really. He f'in hates us. Fuck.

I would rather see Brandon Graham start at QB Saturday than Sheridan. Is Rich Rod's son Rhett ready to start playing yet?

  4. Anonymous santoro Says:

Like everyone else has said... play ANYONE else at QB!! Please, please no more Sheridan! WTF is the point? What is the big goddamn fear? Loose the game by four TDs instead of five?? Become a bigger laughingstock than we already are?? NOT possible! Id rather have Minny beat us 42-0 and see us at least give it a shot.. Just give somebody, ANYBODY a goddamn chance!!

What is really frightening is that RR picked Sheridan as the starter at the start of the season... talent evaluation skills much?

I got on today hoping to find some news about Feagin. I was really hoping to read that RR was giving him a shot at QB. I think he's gonna see some significant time in the next game after Sheridan's 3rd pick in the 1st qtr.

Why not just line up Minor or McGuffie at QB and then bring in Feagin if it's not working? Anything but Sheridan! They flashed his stat line on TV right before the safety against MSU. 1 TD and 4 INT (or was it 5?)

Please RR, if we're gonna get beat again make it something meaningful. Sheridan is NOT the answer so try something, anything else.

As a sidenote, I'm hearing more and more that this will be JoePa's last season. If they play in the BCS championiship I think it will definetly be his last game.
